MatchMaker.com Review: A Sad Excuse for a Matchmaking Site Online

The biggest issue that we have with MatchMaker.com is that it claims to be entirely free…but it isn’t. The only thing that you can see here for free is some pictures. The rest you have to pay for. Whenever you’re using a site like this one, you’re just going to have to go in knowing that you’re going to get ripped off–or, you can just end up avoiding it altogether. That’s what we recommend, but of course, we did our review on it anyway. We knew that we’d have to sit here and pay for some very poorly filled out profiles in general. Sometimes, the pictures that were most appealing to us were attached to profiles that were nothing but fakes put there to lure people into joining the site in the first place. That’s not good. Obviously, our number one concern is actually getting the match that we’re here for. This site can’t even come close to giving us that, and that’s what really upset us. When a site just lies about how many members it has, that’s also a huge issue. This site does that, and gives us about a million and one opportunities to have false data.
