The problem with Cupid.com is that while it might try and boast a ton of active members, it really does suffer from the fact that no one sticks around all that long.
It’s not interesting enough.
For a matchmaking site to survive, it does need to have something of a gimmick to go off of. If it isn’t unique or interesting enough, then there’s no way people will stay around.
That’s exactly the issue that’s going on here. This site in particular just really doesn’t try to keep people interested, and expects you to stick around anyway, no matter what.
That’s just not going to cut it. When a site doesn’t even have a good search feature, for example, there’s no way that it’s going to end up surviving on the Internet.
That’s a problem here.
One of the biggest issues we ever had with this particular site was that there was just no real amount of ability to search for anything that was particular specific on the site.
This means that if you’re looking for particular interests, good luck. You probably aren’t going to be able to find them. We think this is a very serious flaw in the design of the site.
The more time that you spend here, the more you’re going to realize that you honestly just can’t get what you need here. It’s no fun, and it’s not going to work for you.
The Numbers Didn’t Impress
We ended up spending a grand total of five months on our Cupid review, and during that time, we sent out a total of 200 chat messages to women that we met online.
It wasn’t any good.
From those 200 chat messages, we could only get a grand total of 30 responses. This was just pathetically bad, and it really showed exactly how boring the whole site was.
From those 30 responses, not a single woman actually wanted to meet up in real life. This was very telling regarding the site, and we were definitely read to leave it then.
With a site like this one, your chances to get a match are just not going to end up happening. We proved this without a doubt, and that’s why it’s just time to leave this one in the dust.
Site Features That Didn’t Work Out
No number of Cupid tips will ever be able to save a site like this one. It’s just not covered with enough people, and it doesn’t have enough unique features to make it worthwhile.
It’s just boring.
While this site might have a few good bones to it, it’s never going to be able to deliver the kind of results that you want in general…and it’s because there’s no real meat to it.
A matchmaking site does need to be able to stand out, and during our review of this one, that’s just not going to happen. We’ve proven that without a single doubt.
If you can’t keep people interested, they aren’t going to keep using the site. That’s a fact of life, and that’s definitely a fact of why this site just keeps on failing.
